Senior Web Analytics Consultant (M/F)

Description

The Senior Analyst will play a vital role by working closely with clients and the Interactive team to analyze and optimize all digital marketing communications and help to develop more specific targeting strategies and processes.

As part of the Web Analytics team, the Senior Analyst leverages web analytics data, often integrated with off line data, to provide insights and actionable recommendations towards efficient digital marketing programs.

In your role as Senior Consultant, you must be pro-active, detail oriented and possess strong time management, written and oral communication skills. You have the ability to recognize and solve data problems and inconsistencies.

You will create in-depth analysis reports and well organized, focused presentations and dashboards. A background in online marketing or site publishing is extremely helpful.
You will work in a creative environment where collaboration is key as you will be working with clients, account and project managers, media planners and the strategy team.

You will work from our HQ in Antwerp but have the opportunity to act from our Amsterdam office after a 2 months ‘roll-into-These-Days’-phase.

Responsibilities

  • Develop digital measurement framework and processes to be able to:
  • identify business requirements and define KPIs
  • define implementation approaches and best practise methodologies for measuring success against objectives
  • Apply various quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze and interpret information from as multiple data sources as needed.
  • Create client-specific analyses including: campaign analysis, customer segmentation and profiling, retention analysis, lifetime value analysis and competitive market research.
  • Define and roll-out client-specific optimization strategies including: A/B and Multivariate testing, content targeting, (campaign) channel optimization, etc.
  • Report and present the results in business context to key stakeholders at different levels of an organisation.
  • Maintaining a functional expertise in database marketing, integrated channel marketing, analytical tools, techniques, and other similar requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to find patterns in data and turn into actionable business impact that drives change in the organization.

Required Skills

  • Experience in online marketing, online measurement, web analytics, online market research, consulting and business analysis.
  • Thorough and proven knowledge of Omniture SiteCatalyst and DataWarehouse, including implementation and report configuration. 
    Any knowledge of other Omniture tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of any other tools such as Webtrends, Google Analytics or Yahoo! Analytics is a plus.
  • You have proven experience in a range of quantitative methods to analyse and interpret information from multiple data sources
  • Implementation and process experience
  • Technically strong with web site development experience
  • Experience with SQL and BI tools is a plus
  • You have outstanding communications skills and the ability to work collaboratively and consultatively with the various teams in the business, the management team as well as external partners
  • You are able to self-manage, based on customer priorities, and are customer focused.

 Required Experience

  • You have at least 2 years experience in an analytics role, with a proven hands-on experience with Omniture SiteCatalyst
  • You have played an active role in the past in setting up a measurement infrastructure for data capture and reporting to drive specific targeting and marketing recommendations
